Parade Float

Trimtec Systems can design and create your parade float using  Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam panels. We work with  businesses, schools, churches and other organizations to create parade floats.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam makes a good choice for parade floats cause it can be used to create 3 dimensional shapes, and can be  cut with a standard saw, hot knife or hot wire tool. Platforms can be made to stand on and seats can be created also.

Once coated, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) becomes a sturdy material that you can reuse.

Using Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam has several advantages:

When you paint on EPS foam, this is very important - NO OIL BASED PAINT TOUCHING ON THE FOAM!!! It will disintegrates the foam. Water based or latex paint ONLY should be use directly on the foam. If you want to use spray paint you MUST put a coat of latex underneath.
